Awesome and unique place to check out for a summer adventure! Bring watershoes, swimsuit, and a flashlight to get through the cave where the water can be above waist-level in some places. Park at the closest available spot in Lac Philippe campgrounds, but they're usually pretty busy so this could make the walk to the cave around 1 hour each way.

One of my favourite parts of Gatineau park! Great to go in the summer so you can cool off from the heat.
I would bring a waterproof bag for you phone and valuables and a flashlight
Don't be afraid to take your shoes off and get wet!

A great hiking spot where you can go inside a small cave. Bring a change of clothes and prepare to get wet. A headlamp or flashlight is also recommended.

Loved this spot! An easy and beautiful 5km hike to the cave with a few nice beaches along the way where you can swim or just relax. The cave itself is short but very cool--running water up to your chest at points and pitch black so if you're not comfortable with that, be sure to bring a headlamp. Personally I loved the thrill of feeling around in the dark and making our way through!

Lusk Caves were beautiful to explore. The 5 km hike in the forest was worth seeing the unique caves. The water in the caves was chest high- so it is highly recommended to bring a swim suit or change of clothing. Strong flashlights and proper hiking shoes are needed for this spelunking adventure!
The overall 12 Km hike made for a great day in Lac Philippe. Breton beach was a perfect beach to sit and relax with stunning views of the lake. The 12$ parking fee was a deal. Lusk caves and Lac Philippe are a must to discover!
