  The store has everything one may need for living or traveling - starting from fruits and vegetables, baking goodies, variety of dairy and deli cold cuts products, some selection of beers and wines. It is clean and well located on the main Wakefiled road. It has a washroom. The store open at 7:30 and close at 8 pm daily.

  Quaint little grocery store in the heart of Wakefield Quebec. Normal grocery store food but there is a selection of local food such as tortierres and game food.

  Cute little store with lots of variety. Sells Presidents Choice products, part of Loblaw? Not sure. Anyway worth stopping in if you need almost anything. Produce and meat both looked great!

  Visiting from the UK, travelling from Ottawa to Mont - Tremblant, we took a suggested trip to visit Wakefield and were not disappointed. It's a lovely quiet place beside the river and we needed breakfast so stopped by chance at the local store which happens to have a bistro above.
  The view over the river is stunning, the staff were very accommodating and the food was tasty. What's not to like.
  The General store downstairs was very well stocked with more variety than lots of other supermarkets.

  The Wakefield General Store has great local produce as well as local meats. The staff is absolutely always friendly. They also have a great customer loyalty program and do amazing things for the local community. If you're looking for quick, friendly and dependable service this is the place to go.
