  Cosy atmosphere, good food. Not sure it's worth the trip if you aren't already in the area however.

  Incredible local food offered by a Nationally awarded team. The best part is that you can buy some of the awseome condiments, chutneys, brined veg and pates in the gift shop.

  Consistent food quality. The bread and the butter and olive oil go with it are killing, I usually will control my consumption in the bread so I have space to taste other food, but the bread is just too good to skip. Really enjoy the soup, the freshness of the salad, a lot of thoughts and fine works in the main. We had duck and steak, both are so delicious. Very attractive price for set menu, including soup, salad, main, dessert and coffee or tea. Bravo to the chef and the team. Although it's open kitchen, you will not leave the restaurant with strong smell of cooking.

  Wonderful wine, excellent food, and great service. Thanks for the dinner last night. Everything was first rate and we even had a little snow falling in the back. Nice short getaway from Ottawa. Should do this more often!

  Beautiful atmosphere, great service. Went with 2 others, we all did Table D'Hôte with wine pairings. Go for the mains and desert. Soup and salads are good, but nothing special. Excellent selection of wines! If you have back issues, bring a small pillow for lumbar support, chairs are uncomfortable.
