(November 8, 2016, 10:16 pm)When I sent emails to get horse riding courses around Montreal, the one which answered fast was Centre Equestre des Laurentides.
They have a 3-6 horse riding initiation and if you don't have helmet or boots, they can lend some equipement.
As soon as we enter, we are welcame, we feel horses and poneys are well treated and it's not a "horsing" plant but really a hotel for horses.
You want to discover horse riding, train, initiate gently children ? this is the place for. And the surroundings are great too. -

(August 19, 2016, 3:24 pm)Wonderful first time experience with my daughter of 10yrs old! She learned how to prepare the horse before riding it ( brush it, clean it, put on the equipment) and she had to learn how to walk with it, step on it, learn the signs of how a horse communicates with her and many more things. She learned how to sit in the saddle and how to ride with a faster tempo. She also learned how to clean everything after her ride ! It was a 100% learning by doing experience and we loved it absolutely. We are definitely come back now we have found a new adventure !!! Thank you so much for this!!!
