We went 40 years ago and walking over that suspension bridge was an experience I'll never forget. Feeling the bridge rise and fall with every passing semi was so cool. I'd like to ride my bike over the
span before I die.

We were there for my wife’s flagpole. Unsure, whether I should accompany her to US side. Since She does not know how to drive, we thought of going ahead and giving it a shot. Officer on US side were really helpful with the process. We were done within an hour and sent back to Canada for rest of the processing. Since major of the processing is suppose to happen at Canadian side, wait time was long. And we were done with everything in 3 hours.
Its good if you go over there on weekends when it is quite. Start early if you are driving from GTA, so that you finish on time and can enjoy the 1000 island.
