Camping Granby

Our stay was amazing! Lots of fun stuff for our daughter and very kind staff. I would like to point out the 1 star review left by Martin St-Laurent: The person that was being evicted was actually my neighbor across the road. I saw the whole argument and I can say that the only person being rude or aggressive was the one being evicted. The 2 managers that took care of the situation never once raised their voice and only explained that after hearing multiple complaints from other campers and creating a negative atmosphere that they would have to leave. It was the evictee in question that was being dramatic and rude who decided to call the police for an escort. Once they arrived he completely switched to nice guy. Yes there were a circle of people that were watching but it was only after he (not the managers) created a scene. I honestly hope that the 1 star review does not stop anyone from camping here because they would really be missing out on a lot of fun. Over all the situation was handled very professionally in my opinion. Hope this helps!

Very clean. The place is serious about their speed limit - it makes for a very safe place. Frequent patrols mean everyone has to follow the rules and get a great experience. Someone thought they could have a loud party. It lasted about 20 minutes before they were told to turn it down. The pool has a unique design and they also have an artificial lake to swim in.

Well maintained and great people! Many restrooms and showers available, and they are very clean, which is amazing considering the amount of people.

Daily activities available (train/fire truck tour, arts & crafts, lake and pool) to keep kids entertained. Bingo, dance events also organized.

Close to bowling, zoo, restaurants, stores, etc for off-site activities.

Perfect to relax without kids getting bored! ?

The only con was that we had a tent and were assigned a very rocky site...

Beautiful campground. Family friendly. I have read some of the bad reviews and frankly find it childish. You are provided with a Rules pamphlet upon arrival, read it and respect it and you will have no problems. As for the speed complaint, this is standard in all campgrounds that I have seen over the last 10 years. This campground has signs everywhere and digital speed signs showing your speed. I’m very happy i didn’t make my decision to visit here based on the reviews I read. Was a great vacation:)

a very goos place for kids. There is a lot of rules , but this is completely normal for a camping this huge , and i personnaly extremely enjoyed the people on this playground !
