The owner Sébastien was the only one of the 3 bidders to propose that the drain be connected to the sewers outside the house. (The other two proposed a sump + pump = cost + risk of additional infiltration).
Also he was the only one to propose the installation of a delta membrane which appears among the best practices according to ecohabitation.
Yes it was a little more expensive than others but you pay for something: quality work and theoretical skills. This is not the time to save some under and find yourself with an improperly installed drain.
