(September 12, 2018, 1:05 pm)I ordered linen pants from Gaia Dubos and absolutely love them. I wanted lighter pants I could wear to work in the summer that would last more than a year. Since these are linen I was worried they might be wrinkled and look unprofessional, but they actually drape beautifully. The linen is thick enough to not see your underwear through and heavy enough to not wrinkle easily. Based on the weave, stitching and flattering cut they seem to be very high quality. While coarser than cotton, the material is very breathable and not itchy at all. I imagine they'll get even more comfortable after a few washes. The measurements on the website are spot on so the size I chose fit perfectly. I requested an alteration (no toggles or elastic at the bottom of the pant leg) and the seller was very accommodating. Her friendly, professional nature and passion for ethical fashion definitely shines through. The clothes are made to order to not waste material, so there is a bit of a wait time (about 3 weeks within Canada), but it's worth it. The website has a tonne of information about the material used and where the clothes are made so you can tell they go the extra mile to ensure the products are sustainable. While more expensive than most clothes I've purchased, I think the cost is justified based on the quality and environmental impact. I wholeheartedly recommend Gaia Dubos!
