(June 6, 2019, 2:07 am)Must visit on a clear day four a great view of Montreal City. Remember that Montreal is named after mont royal and this place is five minutes walk from parking. There is a chalet for those looking for quick snacks/coffee. I would recommend skipping it and just going for great views of city

(May 2, 2019, 3:58 am)Beautiful place to visit in Montreal for a scenic view of the entire city. It looks beautiful during the day and night. The path up is a good workout and a pleasant hike. There are lots of dogs too which is a bonus for me.

(March 14, 2019, 4:04 am)We walked from downtown to the chalet with the intention of visiting the cafe to have breakfast, we ended up hiking up a steep mountain in -14 C to reach it. The cafe has soup, sandwiches and snacks, but nothing really substantial. Many people apparently bring food to the chalet and lay out a spread on the tables in the main hall. The chalet offers an unsurpassed view of Montreal. As we later discovered you can drive up the mountain to a parking lot near the chalet and walk a short distance to it.
