The acoustic isolation is dramatic and despite choosing a calm neighborhood and a seemingly reputable condo, one of the neighbour is a total nightmare and it feels like living next to a bar.
UPDATE: Akelius reached out and is adressing the situation accordingly. For their effort to rectify the situation and offer peace to the building, I revised my notation.

My husband and I just rented our first apartment.We were coming from a 6 bedroom house and had a zillion concerns, We were referred by a very pleased tenant at the Akelius complex in Saint Lambert. A great referral that put us in front of senior leasing agent Jenny Hussey. Ms Hussey was very sensitive to the needs of a couple of seniors, even answered our questions after normal working hours. Very impressed with this individual. Akelius should be very proud of this employee.

When looking for an apartment, I found one at 3010 Van Horne that was right in my price range with a beautiful interior. I was already living in an Akelius owned building but was looking to downsize and getaway from the busier streets. Jenny made the process extremely easy and smooth. She never hesitated to answer any questions I had, no matter how minor they were. She was attentive and speedy and she made moving during a pandemic as easy as possible. I'd give 6 stars if I could.
