I lived here in the early 60s and rented my own place once I married in the 70s. I loved it there. As a matter of fact my parents worked part time in the rental offices. My father would show the places. My mother would do the office work. A lot of my family lived there too. My husband and I were thinking of moving back here however I can’t climb stairs and I don’t find the information anywhere as to whether there are elevators now or not. Do the apartments use electricity for heat now. We had a little furnace in the apartment where we had little sliding doors. What’s in the kitchen behind the door? It looks like drawers etc. That wasn’t there in my time. I believe the hot water tank was there. Can a table still fit in the kitchen? We used to have a washing machine but no room for the dryer. And there was also a gas stove. I used to walk to school on Boyce St now Renamed. The school was I believe Edward Murphy. My church St Donat. I gave it a 5 star, as it was back then. Some people say it’s good others not. So I guess I’ll have to go take a look for myself.
The best place I have ever lived in town!
On the contrary, very well managed and clean, excellent service and affordable, I was raised and I came back in the forties, congratulations the Estate!
