  I''ve dealt with a LOT of garages in my life and it's sad to say the majority are incompetent "parts changers" or will flat out just try and rip you off. This isn't the case at Somerled, these guys are knowledgable mechanics and easily one of the most honest garages to deal with in Montreal. They'll tell you exactly what needs to be changed and what isn't as urgent, so check them out if you need work done properly.

  Amazing customer service!
  Got unlucky and my car exhaust system got bent & ripped when I crossed a construction site. Went to see a first garage where they told me the only way to fix it, was to change the whole exhaust system which would cost me half the price I paid for the car (I almost fainted).
  I decided to get a 2nd opinion and went to Station Service Somerled.
  They told me I had two options:
  A) To fix the particular broken part and try to rearrange the bent part
  B) To replace the whole exhaust system.
  They reassured me that the best option was A since it would cost much less and won't make a big difference in quality.
  I felt I got all the needed information to make a clear decision and also felt no pushing for making a quick decision.
  They even gave me a lift back home since it was pouring rain.
  4 hours later and my car is back with me .
  Thanks guys for your professionalism. I lived 10 years in Japan where customer service is out of this world and you reminded me on how easy things where when I was living there.
  
  Definitely will be back.

  I have been going to this garage for more than 20 years and I have always been satisfied with the service. Over the years I have gone through many vehicles and have always received good reliable advice, usually based on the many vehicles they service. They are a family run operation and in fact, dropping in is like visiting family and the trustworthiness comes from the relationship that we have built up over the years. It is difficult to find a dependable, honest garage, and for that reason it is an easy choice to always depend on them to look after my van as if it was their own.

  I've been a long-time client of this garage and they are stand up workers. Always deliver as expected, and on time. They respect client wishes and never do more than what is requested. No surprises when it comes time to pay. they are extremely trustworthy. Honest, quality, great value service.
