Cuisines West Island

Had our entire kitchen redone and they were absolutely fantastic, Stephane and the team at WIK are brilliant in their advice, honesty and intergrity, no surprises, everything done exactly to plan, within a stipulated budget, I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

(Yes - I’m posting identical reviews to multiple sites. I’m just very excited about my new kitchen).

Working with West Island Kitchen (Cuisines West Island) was a great experience and the result speaks for itself.

My wife and I were referred to Derrick and Gemma by friends who had worked with them on a much smaller project and had a great experience. My wife and I have no experience with renovations and have no eye for design, so we decided to give them a try.

The process could not have been easier. Derrick took our priorities into account and even found excellent compromises when my wife and I disagreed about a few specific elements. The design he created was amazing - beyond functional and (as you can see) beautiful. Gemma has a great eye for aesthetics and walked us through a marathon session of selecting colours, paints, countertops, tiles, etc while our 1-year-old did his best to destroy their showroom. My personal hell would consist solely of mixing and matching nearly identical colours, but Gemma and Derrick made it (dare I say) tolerable.

My wife and I love cooking, but it became such a chore when we moved into our new house with a non-functional kitchen. Our new kitchen has been up and running for about 1 month and cooking has become a pleasure again. We just hosted my in-laws for a week, which included cooking 6 straight dinners for 9 people, and it could not have been more enjoyable (strictly speaking about the cooking aspect, of course). Everything is in the right place, the flow between focal points feels natural, and the workspaces are comfortable. Oh yeah, it also looks nice.

I cannot recommend West Island Kitchens enough.

West island kitchens is amazing! The showroom is beautiful and shows not only high-end but for every budget.
Stephan is a great kitchen designer and planner. Very friendly, knows exactly what he's talking about and can cater the plan that is inside your head to your budget.

Cuisine West Island couldn't have been easier to deal with. From the start to the final installation everything was handled quickly and professionally. After speaking with them we knew we wanted them to do our kitchen. It was a bit expensive but totally worth it. They are busy so it took some time for the actual installation to take place. On install day 2 professionals arrived and they literally did not stop. The attention to detail was amazing. They really took the time to do everything correctly.
I would definitely recommend them for your kitchen needs.

I think CWIK is top notch. Our kitchen was completed without one glitch. Gorgeous design, everyone was very professional and so competent. 6 years later I needed a hinge fixed on one door, it was taken care of in 2 days ! I highly recommend them for any renovation work.
