Restaurant La Perle

Food was good as usual. We took the all you can eat option. Service at the table was very quick and efficient. Our only issue was that we had to wait over 30 minutes to be seated, even though we had a reservation.

The food is great. Service is fast. They always accommodate, even if you show up at 7 on a Saturday night. It has a bit of a cafeteria vibe due to its sheer size. Over all a great place On the West Island.

The food is fresh and so delicious. Curry is like homemade comfort food, breaded meats are lightly breaded with great sauces. The peanut butter dumplings are better than we've had anywhere else. The service is really friendly and timely and overall experience just really good. This restaurant is worth coming back to regularly, best all you can eat Chinese in Montreal. Go on a random week day instead of weekend and it isn't packed, food arrived really quickly in portions we could handle.

West Island landmark that set the Chinese North American cuisine standard for many years. Some of these same style restaurants have finally caught up some decades later.
La Perle still scores high on quality for this genre cuisine. The waiters could get some polishing and must not assume a sense of entitlement for the tip.
You must work for your gratuity and not assume you will get 15+% for mediocrity.
