After a strenuous ordeal with our vehicle breaking down on our way home from a family reunion, we lucked-out finding this hidden gem. The staff is incredibly hospitable, and more than pleasant. The cleaning staff is impeccable and the entire grounds are quaintly decorated and extremely clean. The price is fantastic ($115/night for 4 people) considering it’s situated so close to downtown Ottawa.
We ventured out to parliament via bus and we’re pleasantly surprised to discover we had the choice of 3 busses that stopped directly in front of the buildings, and were a mere 9 stops to our destination. There are eateries within walking distance in every direction, as well as an Esso and grocery store. Will definitely be staying here rather than Ottawa on our next trip.

The hospitality was outstanding, absolutely top notch friendly and with service in English so no language barrier. The place was comfortable, the coffee great and good value all in all. Thanks, we will be back next time through.
