A spandid Links course with large, fast and wavy greens.
The land is in excellent condition. We could play Summer Rules there because it is so beautiful.
Be prepared, there is often a lot of wind which adds to the difficulty of the terrain.
I recommend to any golfer who wants to take up a challenge and know if his game is ready! -

Today, 07/31/2020, the greens had just been rolled when I arrived.
I took the speed of the practice green with a stimpmeter (I always have 1 in my bag) and the reading gave me a good 11. Wow! good speed.
No one complains about the speed of the greens, on the contrary according to the store attendant after asking him about it.
Bravo to the superintendent and his team for providing a quality course and greens worthy of high-end clubs for a public course.
Many clubs with poa greens should take your club's example.
Greens rated at speed 9 and below (medium speed) should not be a standard. It is not normal to have to use a "pitch and run" when you have to face a distance of 30 feet and more on a putting green.
I have been experimenting with greens with a speed of 7 lately and I assure you that there is no pleasure in putting a putt on such a slow green.
In short, I strongly recommend that you go for a round of golf at Boisés de Joly.
From the tee to the start, you will only have a smile on your face.
My congratulations to the new group of owners and especially to the superintendent for the quality of the course in these scorching times.
N.B. Although still a member of the PGA of Canada.
I paid the full price during my visit since the employee did not have instructions in this regard as to the status of golf professional who visited them. My opinion is therefore neither biased nor bought.
In conclusion, a club to put on your calendar for an excellent golf experience in a beautiful region of Quebec.
Well done to all the staff including the post-golf employees who are exemplary kind.
