(November 30, 2020, 1:09 am)This last week spent at chalet Le Cormier met all my expectations and much more. I was looking for a quiet place with a fireplace and spa on different rental sites. I found exactly what I was looking for at the Chalets du Plateau des Hautes Gorges. Alexandre responded quickly by email and the rental went smoothly. When we got there, the chalet fully matched the photos I had seen. A small intimate space, well equipped and marked with little touches in a country setting. Even the Christmas tree was already assembled which brought a nice festive touch to my stay. The spa was clean and functional, there was sufficient wood, the beds comfortable. The mezzanine is adorable, but perhaps perilous for young children or on a drunken night out. Being alone, I took advantage of the downstairs bedroom which overlooks the balcony and the spa. Convenient for a dip when getting up in the morning or just before bedtime. 15 minutes from the national park where I went every day for hikes, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing in a breathtaking setting. I recommend without hesitation and I keep in mind the other slightly larger chalets on the site for next time with friends when gatherings are allowed again.

Location at the gates of the park of the high gorges of the Malbaie river. The chalets are far from each other ensuring maximum privacy. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. No complaints! See you next year!
