Fantastic hostel! The staff is amazing, the facilities are great, lot of chilling areas. Wifi worked fine too. Location is also very good and near restaurants. My stay was perfect and I will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Clean and budget-friendly accommodations situated in part of a complex that is a former convent. Charlevoix is a region that produces lots of excellent agricultural products, and that can sometimes be an issue as the dormitories aren’t air conditioned, and the breeze might not smell very pleasant at times. It is a beautiful building though, and staying here offered an interesting perspective into Quebec’s religious heritage and a chance to ponder on some of the effects of the Quiet Revolution.

My family had a nice weekend stay and loved this hostel. Very kid friendly and quiet, laid-back place with clean bathrooms and kitchen, and the common area and library were stocked with loads of books, movies, games, and toys. Baie St. Paul is also a nice town!

Lovely old convent in great shape....spotless as though the nuns were still here (what do I know). This is basic accommodation as far as the rooms are concerned. The bed was comfortable. The communal toilets and showers are down the hall. Everything very clean and well maintained. The other common areas are patrimonial. It's like having your livingroom in a church. The church-like tranquility is totally dependent on the good behaviour and consideration of the guests because sound travels easily through the walls. I loved the place. Just keep it quiet please!
