Corro-Protec

My wife and I recently installed a highbred heat pump water heater. After a couple of weeks using it we noticed that our hot water had a sulfur smell. We also use a water softener.
I searched the internet for solutions for water heater sulfur smell and found the Corro-Protec web site.
After reading about the titanium anode I decided to give one a try.
They advertised 2 day delivery and that is what we got.
The directions were straightforward and easy to follow. They even told what size sockets I would need.
Installation took about an hour.
Our sulfur smell was gone by the next day and I believe our hot water even feels better , softer than before.
We are very happy with the anode and I recommend them.

I installed a corro-protec anode about 3 months ago and have not been disappointed. We have high sulphate in our well water and the sulphate reducing bacteria were creating a “sewer” smell in our hot water so we have been using hydrogen peroxide periodically (once per month) to treat the water. When I received the new anode, our water was starting to smell again so instead of treating it with peroxide I just installed the anode. Within 20 minutes, the smell was gone and has not returned. I am very impressed!

My Mom's hot water would always smell like Sulphur. I started to research ways to fix this and that is when I found this product. I ordered it, installed it (not thinking it would really work) and in a day the smell was gone!

Drain water heater installed and the smell was completely gone and still working been way over a week called Rheem mine is a gas and did not void water heater. The rod that came was all In bad shape and was only 7 months old. I highly love it no more bad hot water and mine is a Michigan well!
