(March 1, 2019, 12:58 am)I ordered a sashimi mix and the plate I got is not what I expected but mmmm! Delighted!!! Thinly sliced tuna of good quality and some varied assorted salmon. I prefer tuna however the salmon was really good too. There was a very lightly smoked but still sashimi salmon and I believe salmon marinated very lightly in maple syrup. It was excellent with a generous portion of really yummy freshly pickled ginger and strong quality wasabi. I paired it with a glass of Sauvignon blanc. I pass through here rather infrequently but I’ll remember this place. And travelers bonus it’s attached tote motel l’Auberge l’Etape, older motel but the rooms are spacious and the bed is a travelers dream. Soooo good.
