It says open until 6pm but when we arrived at 5:30pm they were closed and we couldn't get fresh fish for dinner after driving for 5 hrs.

Great place to buy all fresh fish at Stanley's. Great service and yummy lobster rolls!

Great place for fresh seafood!
I come Basin view seafood every year for lobster when I come to Cavendish for summer vacation and every time there is no disappointment! I get 1.5lb cooked lobster around $20 and I bring it to my cottage for my daily lunches!
I will come again next year!

The freshest seafood available from a storefront in PEI, good prices, knowledgeable staff. Only thing to be aware of: this isn't really an attraction, as much as it is a great seafood shop.
