(August 29, 2021, 11:25 am)Loved it. I brought my wife and children here a few years ago. Its literally around the corner from my mother's childhood home. Her name was Earith Dunning. We all signed the guest registry.
Apparently, the staff member on duty that day recognized my surname in the guest registry as the surname that my mom took once she married my dad. The staff member was a cousin of my mom's! She contacted my mom that night and shared the fact that we had visited the LMC homestead that afternoon!
I love PEI. It was a very pleasant experience.
**UPDATE**
My mother passed away last year, so my brother and I travelled to the Island again to bury her remains at the Geddes Memorial Cemetery. -
