(January 10, 2019, 2:09 pm)The hosts are amazing people. You can tell they love their inn and meeting people. It is amazing what they have done to restore this great old home. It's neat to experience the old charm without giving up the comforts (our room had a modern shower and AC). If you stay here be sure to go to the private beach. That alone is worth the trip.

It was a beautifully restored and modernized historic mansion, brought to modern standards while retaining the 19th century atmosphere and feel.
Quiet, secluded, every room simply lovely.
It is a distance from Charlottetown - but - if you look at the map you know that. Leave the tourist zone and the city behind.
You're not a tourist at the Montgomery. You are a guest.
Continental breakfast was much more generous than expected. Hot coffee, good conversation, and a great chat with the owner and host.
No higher recommendation possible. -

(August 1, 2017, 2:42 pm)Newly renovated Bed and Breakfast, absolutely beautiful; super clean and gorgeous property. Owners are very friendly. Easy coming and going as you tour the island. Pantry space and a kitchen is readily available for storing/making food. Excellent for families! We had a wonderful time staying there.
