What can I say about Yen? I wish I can give 10 stars! I think I've been coming here for more than 6 years now and I have to say, she is truly THE BEST! I used to live in Markham so the commute to her salon was about 20 mins but now I live downtown so the commute has changed to 2 hours. Even though I have to sit in rush hour traffic for 2 hours, IT IS WORTH IT! Nobody can cut hair like her. I keep thinking, maybe I'll try a new place this time. I've gone to my share of those fancy hair salons where they pamper you like a baby and have prestigious hair stylists but nobody compares! Her and her staff always outdo themselves and it's always such a fun time when I'm there. I will continue to be client of Verve Hair Salon and she deserves way more credit than she gets! YEN, YOU'RE THE BEST!
I have A LOT of hair, long, thick, wavy, unmanageable, and it grows fast. I got a cut last week and it looks amazing. She did a fantastic job of cutting it to remove the bulk and letting the wave do it's thing. Truly, the best cut I have ever had (I'm late 30s). I found out later that she has special expertise in really thick hair. So glad I found Verve!
Like many other customers, I came here because of the good reviews and was not disappointed at all. Micky and Yen are both kind, talented, and great at what they do. I came as a first time customer after having bad experiences in the past with hair salons, and I wasn't sure of where to go next. I'm so glad I chose verve and will definitely encourage my family to take a visit as well. Yen really knows how to cut hair and how to give you a style that will suit your face. Love doing my hair colour in Verve.Yen is a hair expert and confident in what she does. She first talks to her clients and then understand their liking and does the job accordingly. Verve is a hijab friendly environment as well. Highly recommended for someone who does not know Verve to go and give it a try. Thank you Yen for the fantastic hair highlights you have done today.
I have searched and searched and finally have found the perfect place! Yen and Mickey are amazing; they are professional, car about the work they do and most importantly, Yen takes the time to answer all doubts, concerns and questions with honesty.
