I came here as a grade 9 ESL student. And now is nearly graduating.
Not sure where the highest-paid-teachers info came from, but since this is a public school in yrdsb, they should be paid fairly based on their skills and subjects.
The ESL teachers are really friendly. They might mark you hard though, but they are actually teaching you something, trying their best to help you with the language.
Other subjects are pretty much the same as other schools. We do run the gifted and AP programs here, along with countless clubs and extra curricular activities.
In terms of music department, which I am in right now, you can find seriously any instruments here. We also have a lot of Bands and music groups that are open to all grades.
Guidance Office and Main Office teachers are nice too. You can go talk to them whenever you encounter a problem, either physical or mental. The principle is a bullying-hater, so school is really safe.
Students are generally balanced between academic work and physical works. There are "nerds" though, but only a few.
Anyways, definitely a great school to go! Studying here has become an unforgettable experience already! );

Attended this highschool from 98_01. Had excellent teachers at the time. This school puts both an emphasis on academics as well as the tech streams. Has many tech programs. Recently was renovated. Now a top notch highschool.
