  Came here on a Monday afternoon after Canada Day Long Weekend and was impressed how tidy the grounds were. I expected a few hundred people entered the park just a few days ago to see the fireworks but the grounds were clean, very clean!We just did a picnic in the open areas with a blanket etc, however there are dozens of picnic tables peppered throughout the park along tall trees for shade. Please note that propane is note allowed into the park for good reason. I noticed some families fishing along the shore but don't know if they caught anything.It was 4$ per person to enter and was well worth the money for the cleanliness and facilities

  I love, love, love Milne Park. For years I lunched here with my friends. During the week, its a great place to sit and contemplate and parking is free. During the weekend, its busier and you have to pay for parking in the summer. The Rouge River runs through Milne Park. Its nice to sit and relax by the river. Its also a great place to walk on the path and get some exercise. The City of Markham keeps the park and walkways clean and neat

  A great big old park. Nice to ride a bike on the paths. I seen some folks swim there, haven't gone into the water there myself.

  We have spent the Fall October Month in Ontario and have spent it exploring parks and going through hiking trails and of course taking photos. With the parks that we have been, I can say that Milne Dam Conservation Park is my favorite and the most photogenic. We came several times on a weekday because on a weekend I see that there is a fee. It’s the perfect place to soak in all the beautiful fall colors, go walking or fishing or just having some quiet time. There are portable toilets and ample parking. Be warm though that alcohol is not allowed.

  This place is host to the Canada day fireworks for the Markham area but I like this place for its nature and rough landscape. The trees are very old and add to the beauty of this place.
  Kids can run in its green open areas. Also. A good place to picnic during the summer and fall seasons.
  There is an entry fee but sometimes weekends are free.
