  Love the food here. The chef is very talented. I've been going to this restaurant since they were in Vaughn. So happy they reopened. Wish you guys nothing but success

  I'm revising my initial review because of my experience from yesterday and I'm taking away 2 stars because of the service due to a new server. The food quality was still quite good.
  
  I came here yesterday for my birthday and we had a different server. I believe she was filipino. She was probably the WORST SERVER I have ever had at any restaurant and this is the reason why I'm taking away stars. First she got my order wrong and tried blaming me!! I asked for the pasta special and she got me the steak special and kept insisting the order mix up was my fault. I was so shocked by the accusation I couldn't believe it. I supported my argument with specific examples from my initial conversation with the server, and she knew she did something wrong but still wouldn't admit it. She clearly forgot and it was her mistake but didn't want to admit it. I didn't tell her to take the food back because I didn't want to waste it but I was incredibly unpleased, barely touched my food because I really wanted the pasta, not steak and sausage. Oh and I paid more for something I didn't order. Great.
  
  Anyway, while we were there, she never brought us water. I had to get the attention of the other server after 25 minutes from ordering who told our server who was behind the counter most of the time! After that we kept flagging down other servers to get the attention of our own server because she was nowhere in sight! The worst service ever! There weren't even a lot of people in the restaurant!! She also didn't check up on us at all or apologized about the order mix up. She made my birthday slightly worse and I can't believe my husband still tipped her. Management, please provide more training to your new server because she clearly does not know what she's doing.
  
  The food however was still the same quality as last time and my husband enjoyed his meal. I'll come here again as I usually do but I will insist that we have a different server. The server we had last time was great.

  Great food here and very friendly owners and chefs. But many times the wait staff is slow at service and follow up. Overall though great halal option when you want something a little more fancy

  Great food. Streaks were good. The pasta we tried was excellent. Taste of the sauces was above par.
  
  Friendly staff and clean restaurant overall.
  
  One less star as I feel there's an x-factor missing. The experience feels very generic; I encourage the owner to create an element of uniqueness through customer service or something so people talk more about Kara Mia.
  
  Overall, very satisfied :)

  Clean place. Wonderful service. Big servings. Tasteful meals. Halal dishes. Will eat there again.
