II'm a tool lover and I'm lucky to have some really nice tools. With that said the bar has been set high. The following factors: Quality, Functionality and Price/Value are considered when I determine if I love or hate a tool.
Recently I started to maintain a new vehicle (Lexus NX 200) that requires a specific cartridge oil cup wrench. There are a number of options on the market, some very cheap.......like $15 cheap. To be honest I almost went that direction. I then saw a number of pictures of the slotted teeth broken and even one split completely in half. What that tells me is these things are being pumped out overseas and casted using very poor quality metal.
Just think of how frustrated you will be when you're in the middle of an oil change and your tool breaks. You have to stop, reorder, spend more time and money plus have a vehicle down longer than it should.
Sure you may get lucky and that cheap oil wrench does not break the first time but if you are maintaining your own vehicle or in a repair shop setting you will be using this many times a year or even daily. Your luck will run out on one of your oil changes. Food for thought.
Even knowing this I almost did not buy from Klick Wrench, that would have been my loss. I could not find many reviews or Youtube videos on the company or product. Turns out Klick Wrench is a relatively new company.  So because of this I'm posting a review for those considering Klick Wrench. I also want to help spread the word for a company making a nice product.
Quality: Oh my.....it's nice. If quality and looks translated into speed this would be one of my fastest looking tools in my box. The body is nicely machined out of 6061 aluminum with a nicely done anodized finish. I have NO concerns that this tool will break. It also comes with an etched in serial number and a corresponding calibration card for the torquing mechanism. Plus it's also made by our friendly neighbors in Canada. IT IS REALLY NICE.
Functionality: So the cheap tools will only fit the specified cartridge filter and screw and unscrew. The Klick Wrench (RED) fits 73-77mm cartridge filters and 14 and 15 flute canister filters. It's not a one trick pony.  For example I can actually use this on my Silverado 1500 that has a canister. It also has a built in torque wrench to take out the risk of over tightening your filter. One additional thought....Sure you can take out your expensive torque wrench crawl with it under your car, possibly beating it up as you go, drop it in a bucket of oil and scratch the heck out of it while it's laying on the asphalt. No thank you! I like the Klick Wrench all in one package.
Price/Value: Yup, it's a little more money upfront but it will cost less in the long run when the cheap tool breaks on you. Also think of this. What does it cost for a 4 inch diameter, 3 inch long 6061 aluminum round stock, the end mill cutting bit, the cnc machine, electricity, labor, design, torque mechanism, the anodize process and assembly....this is a fantastic price point!!! If Snap-On rebranded this I'm sure it could be a $300 tool. As an individual I feel I got more than what I paid for. Also the money I saved with one oil change pays for the modest delta between the cheap tool and the Klick Wrench.
I have never looked forward to oil changes before so there is some additional value there as well....Really, well done Klick Wrench. I'm looking forward to what else you bring to market in the future.

Excellent product! Finally a solution for easy removal and installation of the oil filter on my 997 C4S Porsche. Love the torque "click" feature. Thanks again :)
