(April 3, 2019, 12:00 am)Went for lunch yesterday (their first day of opening the tea room for the season), and I enjoyed a delicious, fresh and healthy lunch. The tuna sandwich was very flavourful and the cream of asparagus soup was very nice with several pieces of asparagus in it. I was so full after! Atmosphere was quaint, and non-fussy, with a nice view of the Speed River. I'm looking forward to going back :)

They have healthy meal options and great menu for desserts. A very cute place to go for tea which you can have with shareable plates of the dessert options. The location is great, the patio faces the river where you have a calming view and can watch people kayaking. -

(January 11, 2019, 4:37 am)I love sitting by the river on the colourful chairs with my family in the summer! We watch the ducks swim by and eat their amazing ice cream! Such a lovely place, 10/10 recommend.

Although it closes for the winter season, the Boathouse is a local favourite for those who wish to eat outside at a bench overlooking the river. Its rather scenic setting adds to the experience that is made positive initially by friendly staff members.
