I have been a member at Midtown Yoga for almost 11 years and it is the place to go to maintain a great balance in my life. Exceptional instructors; great classes and impressive facility.
Midtown Yoga is my happy place. I found this practice when I was broken by life and it helped me build myself back up. My first year brought me back emotionally, second year brought me back spiritually, and the third brought me back physically. I can't wait to see what I will accomplish over a lifetime with this practice!
Over the years Midtown Yoga has become my refuge. It is a space where I feel safe and accepted just as I am. Everyone is so welcoming, encouraging, and inclusive. I love that you will see people of all ages, sizes and abilities in a class together, all working as a team to share energy.
The studio itself is beautiful, bright and clean. There are free lockers provided to store valuables in the change rooms, showers stocked with natural toiletries, and a small selection of drinks and snacks in case you get the post-class munchies.
The teachers are friendly and knowledgeable. They give special attention to beginners to make sure that they perform postures safely, and that they feel welcome and comfortable in class.

I think the studio is full of friendly, helpful people. I come to Midtown Yoga for the Power Flow work with Asia. Asia is an incredibly good instructor. In addition to her understanding of yoga, she is thoroughly knowledgable about the body. Her process is revealing in so far as I have discovered a lot of health benefits of Power Flow, and I have a greater knowledge of what I must work on. Asia creates a warm, supportive - yet challenging - atmosphere in the studio. I can't recommend her highly enough.
Midtown Yoga has provided a perfect counter balance to my recent participation in hockey. Over the past two years, I have become much more in tune with my body and it is easy to feel marked improvement in flexibility, posture and balance. A long term issue with pain in my hips and feet is gradually correcting itself.
