  Fantastic guys working at this location. All of them are kind and professional. Eric was a weath of information, and very pleasant to deal with. It was nice to talk to someone who is educated and honest, and did not push the warranty.

  Awesome store an awesome knowledgeable help. Awesome products televisions to stereos two speakers sound systems Mini compact stereo systems. You name it they got it prices are more than fair.

  This place has the most honest and helpful sales professionals I’ve ever encountered.
  
  I dealt with Eric and he spent around 3 hours explaining different things to me and breaking things down into pros and cons.
  
  Eric also answered all my questions when I would call the store and he never lost his patience, in fact he was legitimately happy to help.
  
  It’s easy to tell when someone enjoys their job as much as Eric does and it makes the transaction a delight and pressure-free. Eric is very competent and easily the most knowledgeable sales professional I’ve dealt with.
  
  I ended up buying my 7.1 AV Receiver from Eric and I will continue to return to deal with him to buy the rest of my system.
  
  It’s few and far between when you run into someone who’s willing to help and enjoys himself doing it as well.
  
  Keep up the excellent work and thank you sincerely for all your help.

  I'm not one to write a review but I think this one is deserved. I have had dealings with 2001 for over twenty years and have always been treated with the same respect as I both give and deserve. One of the last surviving independent Canadian companies in this highly competitive world. The staff have always been personable, knowledgeable and have always pointed me in the right direction. Their top brands, price protection and in stock product have always brought me back. If you want a "cheaper" brand than don't waste your time, they don't pretend to carry. They try and combine service and price within every sale. Which I'm sure is very hard to do when everybody expects everything for nothing. The newly added buy back warranty was an unexpected treat but not a surprise being as competitive as they are. They will always try and give you the best price around but remember they are a business and must survive. I don't work for free and neither should they. I respect a business that has been around for nearly 50 years and still has the same core values. My only negative comment would be to Google. I think they should monitor their reviewers a little more closely and flag the abusive ones. Thanks again to 2001 and their staff for a job well done.

  Eric is your man! We went into Audio Video 2001 expecting to get pounced on by an aggressive sales associate looking to con us into buying something we didn't really need at a price beyond our budget. Instead we got Eric - a very knowledgeable, friendly and down-to-earth AV expert who guided us to our new TV - and at a great price. He made us feel comfortable and didn't once pressure us into buying anything. We're really happy we checked out Audio Video 2001 in our TV buying journey and even more happy with the new TV.
