The Expecting Lotus

The birth photos that I recieved were absolutely jaw dropping. I am so glad I chose to have birth photography and will cherish these photos forever. My husband and I are incredibly grateful that Ashley was there to support us for almost 3 days(!) in the hospital. I felt completely pampered and at ease during my labour. You won't be disappointed!

I chose expecting lotus for my placenta encapsulation because they seemed the most educated and held several certifications- it was clear in the interview that continuing education was important to them. Ashley covered all our counters with plastic so it wouldn't come into contact with any blood, and left our kitchen cleaner than it was when she arrived. The capsules were life savers and helped greatly with my postpartum depression. I was very happy with my capsules and the level of professionalism they offer.

I couldn't be happier with my experience with Expecting Lotus! Ashley was my primary doula and she was just so calming. I chose to have an epidural and I felt 100% supported in my choices while I was in the hospital. I had a lot of anxiety around giving birth (which is why I had a hospital birth) and I was so relieved to find a doula in the area that didn't judge me for considering pain medications. I loved that they came to my home to assist with breastfeeding after the birth, which was incredibly helpful. I highly recommend their services!

I can't thank Expecting Lotus enough for all the support they gave me throughout my pregnancy. They are very professional, and always went the extra mile. Ashley Button was our labour and postpartum doula and I don't think I could have done it without her. When I went into labour, we were able to reach her immediately and she stayed with us through 2 days of contractions. She was respectful of my choices and I never felt judged. Her support while I was breastfeeding was invaluable, especially after such a draining labour! I cannot recommend their services enough- I just hope they are available if I ever become pregnant again!
