I just finished their 2 day CPR First Aid C + AED course; Sandy McQuain taught it. She was fabulous! She was so knowledgeable and so funny too! What a great teacher!! Even one of the teen boys exclaimed how much he enjoyed her teaching! She is such a caring person and that comes through her lessons as well! Thank you!!

The course was very informative! Some of the topics covered were first aid, bandaging, making a splint, poisonous creatures and plants, AED use, infant and child CPR, adult CPR, treating various illnesses and injuries, dealing with multiple people injured, medication interactions, etc.

They had cushioned seats (top and bottom) to sit on for the course with big tables to write on. They had thick gym mats to kneel on to do CPR on the dummies. They accommodated a woman in our class with a bad knee by getting her to show that she could do CPR on the floor briefly, and then she continued doing CPR on the dummy up on a table.

They supplied each person with their own kit of bandages and gloves to use on classmates and a lung and a face mask to use on a dummy. We bandaged and assessed our fellow classmates, and performed CPR and used the AED on a dummy. There was a test to assess us.

There were no vending machines in the building, so come prepared, or you need to walk a ways for food somewhere else. They sell first aid and tick kits.
