Hourahine's Martial Arts

I got my kids enrolled 4 years ago because I was worried about them being bullied. They both have done so well in Karate as they strive to do better every class, it has made me so proud of their hard work! They have so much confidence and are so strong and fit and no bullying issues!
I on the other hand, had a lot of physical issues from not doing anything but work.
While watching the kids class one day Sensei Andy asked me why I didn’t join the adult class, so I did!
This has been the best thing I ever did for myself and the kids! 3 and 1/2 years in and having turned 50, I have no physical issues and I’m in the best shape of my life!
The Hourahine’s are amazing teachers and family! The coaches and students are wonderful and friendly! It’s a great family atmosphere and the quality of Karate is top notch! I wish I did this 30 years ago but it’s never to late to start!

I have been taking my daughter here for only about 2 months now. She and I both love it. The coaches are very friendly and are great with kids, being able to keep them focused and motivated. Sensei is very knowledgeable and excels at running a class of kids. He isn't afraid to correct them when they don't pay attention, but in a way that shows compassion and sensitivity to the fact kids might get embarrassed. My daughters confidence and ability has soared over the last 2 months. After trying another local Karate school and not liking it, I feel very blessed to have found this one. A truly family friendly dojo, that is actually taught by highly skilled instructors, not just glorified "babysitters". I would recommend this place to anyone, and can't say enough positive things about this place.
