The place is very clean, and all the options available. When I saw $18 for oxtail, I wanted to walk out but the nice lady at counter offered a smaller size. To avoid awkwardness I accepted. I was disappointed that meal had only two piece of meat in the medium size.I also was surprised to get what seem to be basmati/jasmine rice. The coleslaw was good, and so was the saltfish fritter.

I wanted to try a new place but I dunno I felt ripped off with oxtail. It kinds just put me in bad mood. Might comeback for fritters again.

*I feel like rent is high is this location comparative to most Caribbean restaurants.

These people know how to cook. Food and service is great. Unfortunately, the price to portion ratio is not good, and I hate restaurants that are stingy like this. Caribbean restaurants tend to be generous with their food, it's part of our culture! Caribbean Cuisine Delights at Sheridan mall will remain my favourite spot.

My husband had the fried chicken with rice and peas, they were both very flavourful and cooked to perfection! I had the Goat which was absolutely delicious, as was the rice and peas I had along side. I would have given a five star rating if not for the fact that my potatoes in with the goat were practically raw, but the rest of the food and super nice staff more than made up for that. I'll definitely be back for more!

I am a frequent patron of Sunrise, the food is incredible on a consistent basis. There are a lot of tasty, healthy options for pescatarians and vegetarians and people like me that have GF & DF dietary preferences. I usually get the escovitch king fish or salt fish fritters. My partner swears by the jerk chicken.

Because of our love for our lunches at this location , I hired Joel to cater my mothers COVID distancing outdoor birthday of 10. To this DAY my family can’t stop talking about how amazing and delicious the food was. Down to the rice was incredible (and it was for a Caribbean family so you know it’s the real deal ). The presentation, the quality, the timing was above and beyond 5 stars. I can’t say enough good things about the food and the owners - it’s homecooking away from home. I’ve never written a restaurant review but this was definitely warranted - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
