  spent 8 years in port union. always a great time going toward the waterfront. keep in mind there's mo real place for a bench and picnic...you can find rocket areas close to the water but no grassy sections that I can recall. so if you're planning a huge picnic I probably wouldn't suggest this place for that purpose.
  
  this lark is for hanging out with a few friends or just taking a bikeride/run/walk with your date, and just enjoy the amazing water of Lake Ontario

  In fresh air from the lake you can always drop by and spend a quality time with your loved ones. Beautiful lake view specially in the time of sunset everyday. Parking facility is available. Good for morning and evening walk by the lake.

  The local park, hosts the community waterfront festival, has a great splash pad and playground for the kids and a lot of space to put down a blanket and hang out.

  This place is beautiful. There is a small park for children to play in along with a small waterpark. There is a long trail to follow. Taking a walk down the cement trail will take your breath away! The only downside is that there isn't really a beach and it doesn't look safe to swim in. I'd still go for a nice walk or picnic, though!

  It's worth to visit this place instead of going to B-town. Nice view of Lake Ontario along with pitch road at the side for bike & walk. Fresh air, cool breeze & clean environment. Perfect place to spend with family & friends.
