(August 18, 2019, 11:20 pm)the chirashi don here is great just a little pricey so be prepared. The cakes are coffees here are yummy too. Not too sweet just the way i love them. The tofu cheese cake its my fav!

I been going here for at least 7 years.
It isn't often that I can visit but it is always been worth it. The only thing that has changed is increase in price with the times.
Still hole in a wall restaurant in very nondescript plaza that I fell in love with.
Chef speaks Japanese.
The sushi is fresh.
Cakes are amazing.
Tried Mocha chiffon today which was so light, fluffy, moist and not too sweet. I am pretty sure i could eat the whole cake in one sitting it is that good.
The restaurant was packed so on weekends make a reservation. My husband and I were lucky to sit by the bar as we went for early dinner.
So why not perfect 5.
0.5 was taken off cause the restaurant needs bit of TLC when it comes to interior like new coat of paint on the walls and non rusty garbage can in the washroom.
This is a food mission worthy place.

(June 23, 2019, 6:24 pm)Amazing place. You know it’s legit when you see actual Japanese people here. Came once with a friend, went back the next day to bring wife. Great quality, up in price but worth it, especially if you take the desert and coffee combo. It’s a hidden gem, and that makes it that much better for me. Don’t think twice, just come.
