(April 21, 2019, 3:41 am)Delicious, traditional, German-style cookies, strudels, cakes and holiday-specialties, along with perfectly-crisp schnitzels and tasty goulash soup. My family has been coming here for over 40 years and while Mr. Fabian himself has retired, the wonderful staff are skilled at keeping his tradition alive.
Always a pleasure to come and get baked goods for any occasion. -

(February 24, 2019, 1:38 am)It is a great place for a coffee and snack. I like the atmosphere and the customer service. It is so clean and the pastries were good. I will definitely go back to try the Smoked Salmon sandwich.

Three generations of my family and I have been coming here for lunch & bakery treats for 20 years (as well as for all our special occasion cakes). The cafe offers fresh homemade schnitzel, goulash soup, quiche, Euro style salad plates & sandwiches, etc., which are a nice lunch alternative to usual boring chain restaurants. The cakes, pies, cookies and pastries are all yummy (coffee is good too!). Fabian's is a cozy family run cafe, located in a strip plaza on west side of Markham, between Ellesmere & Lawrence. The owners are lovely people, as well. This place is a hidden gem! (FYI -- Cafe only accepts cash or debit. Also, it's a good idea to check cafe hours before going -- they are closed Mondays and a few times during the year they close for a week for family/employee holiday.)
