The Hogtown Vegan on College

As a vegetarian, I am always on the lookout for interesting new places to eat. My friend and I had a delicious dinner here - the mock Buffalo Wings were delicious as was the quesadilla. The service was friendly and quick.

Good food and reasonable prices.
The service was good and fast.
Was very surprised from the taste of the food.
Washroom can be cleaner.
The restaurant was clean.
Need to look for parking in the street.

Favourite vegan restaurant in Toronto. Seriously in terms of food and prices it's the best. Have brought my family here many times (all non vegan meat eaters) and they genuinely love this place. They genuinely love and appreciate the food - it's now an option when we go out which makes me so happy as a vegan to have a vegan place that other meat eaters love. I love supporting vegan businesses! Thank you for being here and having two wonderful locations in Toronto. As a vegan I hadn't had a chicken burger in years and last year when I tried the unchicken burger for the first time it was heaven (tip: add buffalo sauce). Vegan chicken and waffles and vegan wings also heaven. The staff here is always incredibly kind, warm, and pleasant. Prices are great, this restaurant has the whole package, can't recommend it enough. We're coming back again soon!

I recently went here with some friends for brunch and really enjoyed myself!

There was a fairly good selection of food - although one of us had an allergy to soy which really eliminated a lot of the menu aside from salad. So definitely keep that in mind if you have a soy allergy! The food also came quite efficiently and we weren’t left waiting too long.

I ended up getting the Mac and “cheese” and lavender lemonade with were both really good! As someone who is lactose intolerant but loves cheese eating this was like a dream because it still tasted and felt like cheese in my mouth.

The atmosphere and staff were also great! It felt friendly and not pretentious (which can sometimes be the case with trendier restaurants)! The lovely person helping us whose name I have forgotten was really helpful for my friend navigating the menu for soy free food and offering alternatives as well.

Overall a really lovely place for vegetarian food and brunch! As someone who loves meat I didn’t feel like the food was missing it at all. I’ll definitely come again!

There is a difference between good vegan food and good food in general - this place definitely has straight up good food. My friends and I decided to get a bunch of different dishes to share so we could try as many things as possible - all of it was so good. I highly recommend getting the mac and cheese!

To top it all off, the servers are fast and friendly and the decor is nice. Love this place and would recommend it to anyone!
