(January 3, 2019, 2:01 am)I picked up two filet mignon for New Years Eve dinner, first off, Steve is a great guy, has time to talk over what you are looking for, he trimmed the tenderloin, showed me the size he was cutting and delivered. Steve's prices are very reasonable, compared to other local butchers.
When we cooked the filets, I wrapped them in bacon, seasoned the skilled with bacon fat - searing them on both sides then finishing them at a lower temp, to deliver them rare. The meat was tasty and tender.
If you're looking for something special, give it a try, I'm convinced that you won't be disappointed.
Very nice people, expert butcher, quality meats. I'll be back!! -

(September 24, 2017, 12:38 pm)Great quality, incredible selection, and reasonable prices. The Miami short ribs and strip steaks are highlights. They even do fresh and fully dressed turkeys for various holidays.
