The old rides are really cool to look at and tour around - the grounds are beautiful and you get the most amazing views of the water front area in Toronto. Would definitely recommend for a quick hike in the summer time! Looking forward to returning next summers

(February 11, 2019, 6:29 pm)Visited Ontario Place for the Winter Light Exhibition and had a fantastic time. Entry was free, and since we took transit we didn't have to worry about parking.
The exhibits themselves were unique, interesting and interactive, and visiting at a later hour meant we could enjoy the displays without worrying about any crowds. Exploring Ontario Place was tons of fun and we'll be sure to return during the summer if there are any events or art installations set up.
Only recommendation if visiting during the winter would be to bring a good pair of boots. Some of the paths weren't salted and remained quite icy, so a good pair of grippy boots go a long way.
Ontario Place is a beautiful space built and owned by Ontarians. Let's not let the Ford government sell it off to private interests to make a quick buck. This space is incredible and has so much more potential! -

(January 25, 2019, 12:52 pm)Ontario place winter Festival of Lights was not the greatest experience for the commute and investment in getting there. Ontario place needs a much needed renovation and updating to accommodate the public and families with strollers. Me and my family had a decent experience but would not repeat a trip down for any other event unless some true modernization occurs.

(December 28, 2018, 6:27 am)The Aurora winter festival did have a beautiful light display but be prepared for line ups, and if you want to see Santa you need a reservation, a little disappointing after a steep entrance fee and everything inside costs extra.. fun for kids with skating and 3 rides but wouldn't do it a 2nd time. The bonfire could have been cool if it could accommodate more than 10 people around it
