I would highly recommend him as a pediatrician. I have been seeing him for about 2 years with my now 6 year old son. He's been great.

(March 4, 2019, 10:42 pm)Dr Mersal is a Gem! Finding him was the best thing I’ve done for my baby and for my peace of mind. He’s calm and will address your concerns peacefully rather than rushing you which I’ve experienced with other docs in the past! I travel an hour to see him but don’t regret it one bit as he knows what he’s talking about.

(November 23, 2018, 3:59 pm)Dr. Sutton used to occupy the office Dr. Mersal is currently in. If anyone knows, Dr. Sutton his a household name with a very successful track record. When he retired, it was right before the birth of my second child in 2016. We originally registered our son at Danforth Pediatrics but it was too chaotic and the wait times were ridiculous. When we heard Dr. Mersal was opening up, he took the time to have a "meet and greet" and the kids took to him right away. We are always seen within a reasonable time frame and he's always so pleasant. They did a great job with revamping the office and it's much more kid-friendly. He and his kids (sometimes they work at the front desk to help out!) are very personable and kind. When we are seen by him, he really takes the time to chat and we never feel rushed. I would recommend him. I deducted one star only because the front desk staff is constantly changing. Otherwise, the care that HE provides is great so far.
