Mahaya Forest Hill

I was a patient of Dr. Whimsters for digestive concerns. I have mixed feelings about my care with Mahaya and Dr. Whimster. I'll start by saying that Dr. Whimster is quite knowledgeable and diligent in certain aspects of her treatment. She has a pleasant disposition and is patient in answering questions. She's definitely ahead of the pack when it comes to certain gut health issues but there were pieces of the overall picture that were lacking. I had been ill for many months and my condition was only getting worse as more time went by. After Dr. Whimster went on leave, I sought the help of some of the world's leading digestive health experts and confirmed a proper diagnoses that I wasn't able to achieve after many months under her care. I spent a great deal of time and money chasing after sibo but my issue was actually candida and a rather severe case of it. Most ND's are quite knowledgeable and astute in treating sibo but lack a basic understanding of intestinal candida or how to treat it properly. After learning that methane and candida often go hand in hand, I was able to finally have proper treatment and see some progress in my condition. I found that with Dr. Whimster that we relied too heavily on Doctors Data testing, which is quite innacurate in diagnosing candida and kind of useless and expensive. I felt in hindsight that with my typical set of symptoms and declining health despite prolonged sibo treatment, that a diagnosis of candida should have been more obvious. I'm thankful to finally be feeling better and while I appreciate the hard work put in by Dr. Whimster, more up to date research needs to be examined for cases such as mine.

All of the staff at the Mahaya Forest Hill Clinic are friendly and incredibly helpful. I have also begun to see Jeff Duke for counselling and he is an excellent counsellor! I will continue to be a client at the clinic for a very long time. Thank you!

I have been seeing Anthony @MahayaForestHill for the past two months for my skin and other health issues.

The thorough suggestions for me were on every aspect of life: cloth material, eating habit, shower water temperature etc...
I tried some of his suggestion and have been taking the supplements he prescribed, as well as having regular acupuncture sessions.

My skin is getting much better! It is a great surprise because the dermatologist I saw did not help with my situation, and the skin problem has been bothering me for the past 8 months. I am so happy it finally got controlled!

I was recommended to the Dr. Kate at Mahaya Clinic by my Dental Hygienist. My first point of contact was Adriana, who was very friendly and patient as she explained the process. Those attributes were carried over as she welcomed me on the day of my appointment. On meeting Dr Kate, I felt the same warmth as she greeted me which made my visit a relaxed and comfortable experience.
Dr Kate soon embarked on a thorough assessment of me and then explained what changes we would be focusing on to bring about healing. I have started on the recommended changes and I’m looking forward to what the next 4 weeks will bring.

I have chronic problems with my hip and back and Dr. David Lee (chiropractor) has helped me enormously. About a year ago when I first saw Dr. Lee I had put my back out and could barely walk. I was a Friday and I was scheduled to leave on vacation on Monday. After one treatment I got some relief and Dr. Lee offered to come in the next day (Saturday) to give me another treatment so I could travel. Dr. Lee does not normally work on Saturdays. Thanks to Dr.Lee I was able to travel. He is amazing!!!!
Mahaya is a very welcoming place. Adrianna, the receptionist is friendly and efficient.
