(February 15, 2018, 5:18 pm)I desperately needed a haircut (my usual person is ill), so I checked the reviews for places near Ryerson. Terry's came up with good reviews, so I ventured into the lower level of the Aura condo at Gerrard and Yonge.
The woman slouched against the door frame of Terry's said "Terry busy" rather loudly and rudely, and made no effort to book an appointment or explain further, so I walked away.
I spotted Hai'r down another corridor (who designed this place?) and went in. It is a very small, one-person operation that is blissfully quiet and relaxed. Hai (yup, it's a play on his name) was very pleasant and professional, listened to what I wanted and gave it to me. He gave a great cut, a very reasonable price, and very pleasant experience. If you want a high-energy, high-drama place this is not for you. But if you just want a good cut, male or female, this is a great place.
