(August 22, 2020, 10:04 am)Empire has been my go to spot for my weekend caffeine hit. It is a community gathering spot with lots of regulars. The original owner, Sarah, did a great job of remembering customers, falling in love with their dogs and creating a welcoming environment for everyone. She recently sold the business and the new owners have done a great job of keeping the quality of the coffee and food. Even with face masks on and without the ability to create a hangout space inside, they are doing a great job of continuing the community and welcoming atmosphere that Sarah created.
