(September 29, 2020, 7:00 pm)My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate his birthday, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish! We were greeted by name at the entrance and promptly escorted to our seat. The decor was beautiful and every table was amply spaced apart to ensure social distancing. We both chose the Classic Menu - every course was beautifully plated and cooked to perfection. Our servers were extremely attentive. At the end of the meal, my boyfriend was gifted with a lovely silver wine stopper that was engraved with the Don Alfonso logo. I would like to give special acknowledgement to Samuel. He was the perfect host! He was very knowledgeable, professional, and conscientious. We had mentioned to him that we loved the delicious truffle butter, and he returned from the kitchen with a huge sample for us to take home on the house. I would highly recommend Don Alfonso 1890 - you will not be disappointed!

(August 5, 2020, 12:59 am)I have been to Toronto's best restaurants and this by far blew me away. The most amazing attention to detail, presentation, food knowledge and flavour. You definitely get what you pay for here. I cannot wait for them to reopen. A truly special meal and one I will remember forever.

For those who regularly fine dine or those who on occasion, fine dine - This Italian Amalfi Coast inspired 8 course cuisine is your bliss. Intricate courses and elaborate tastes.We had the honor to walk through the kitchen and meet Michelin Star Chefs Alfonso & Ernesto who have done such a beautiful thing here in Toronto. My Fiance proposed to me, just as we got outside and there is no other place I'd rather remember.Highly Recommend!!
