  My hair was recovering from a very bad haircut and I came in looking to fix it. Mariana was an absolute wonder and did an amazing job with my now chic and sleek bob. I have been only a couple of times before and Ive always walked out happy :)

  I had the best haircut of my life with the most talented hairstylist I have been to in years, Mariana Castro! I have been trying to explain to various stylists how I wanted my hair cut and Mariana is the first stylist who has gotten it right, and made it even better. I would highly recommend Mariana to anyone who wants an exceptional cut from an amazingly wonderful stylist with an amazing personality!

  I have been struggling to find a go-to stylist ever since I moved to Toronto 5 years ago. I have now found him at Civello. For the first time, the stylist listened exactly to what I wanted and just made it better. I was on cloud nine when he was done, but my payment experience took away a star. I was given the option to tip on my card, which was great because I wanted to tip a bit more than I had in cash. However, the man who cashed me out didn’t calculate the tip properly and I was then taxed on my tip. My haircut was $40, $43 with tax. I tipped $12, but my grand total then came to $57, not the $55 it should’ve been. $2 isn’t the end of the world, but I just wanted to let people know in case they are getting a more elaborate service. Bottom line, TIP IN CASH.

  I just had an amazing haircut here with Elle. She really listened to everything I wanted and made sure to communicate throughout the process. I often feel kind of uncomfortable being forward with what I want but she asked so many questions and I really felt that we were on the same page. She did an AMAZING job and it was one of the few times that I’ve left a salon feeling completely happy with my hair. I normally don’t chat much with my hairstylists but her and I talked almost the whole time. She is so nice and warm and easy to talk to. It was such an amazing experience. I chose to go to her based on a review mentioning her so I hope this can do the same. I recommend Elle wholeheartedly, you won’t go wrong.
