Finally a neighbourhood restaurant that delivers. Alo restaurant is the only restaurant in the neighbourhood that delivers l. The service is incredible, you’re never forgotten and close attention to detail is carried throughout the meal. Aimee was our server and she genuinely loves what she does, she was pleasant and attentive.

The food is incredible. The flavours all work beautifully together. Melon salad looks unassumingly simple until you get that first bite in your mouth. Fries are a classic must and the salted brioche brought to the table is like a small piece of heaven. We had the octopus which was accompanied by shisito peppers, the steak, the cold lobster and the beet salad. Which was too much for two people but we were caught up in the menu as soon as we sat down.

There are few restaurants in Yorkville that deliver attention to guest and a complex yet mouthwatering palette experience. Most of the restaurants deliver mediocre food and subpar service just because the traffic will follow. Congrats to all the staff at Alo Bar for providing an incredible experience to your guests.

Amazing experience. Lee and Laura on the bar were gracious and most hospitable. Will absolutely be back. Ribeye tartar and foie gras were next level delicious. Compliments all around!!

A lovely nugget tucked in the pocket of yorkville. Pleasant decor and warm and inviting staff. The menu was brief and tasteful. The patio is also a great feature on a warm night

Thank you for getting us a table without a reservation. We had great seats. The support and wait staff were excellent. I am a vegetarian, I found more than enough dishes to count as dinner. The cheesecake for desert was quite unique...very tasty, interesting texture. My one concern was that all the dishes were overly salty. I'm sure this can be addressed. I am already planning to return with family in the near future. Thanks again for the excellent service. PS the Chardonnay was excellent.
