Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Institute - ORI

Nurse Leila is exceptional in her work and kindness. She and Anastasia are wonderful in their temperament in helping patients. They as well as my doctor Wansbrogh have been a great team in their remarkable skill and expertise. ORI is lucky to have them.

This August of summer, My left calf injured with 14 CM gastrocneious muscle tore. Its painful and swollen. I could not stand up on my left foot.
I was referred to Orthopaedic Rehab Institute for physiotherapy after appointment with Dr.Wasserstein at Sunnybrook Hospital. At beginning, I doubt and questioned myself " Is it right place I picked? Staff are good and pro.?...?". ... After visited for several times during healing, I am really happy to say ORI is Right Choose Right Recovery place. Staff are excellent to serve patients in professional way and provide delicate service during physio treatment. I want to say Thank You, ORI for treatment and service I am getting.! YAN L.

ORI was available for in person and virtual physio during the height of the Covid shut down and I needed the therapy after my shoulder replacement surgery. Bahar was exceptionally skilled and encouraging which I have become an expert in identifying after 6 years of physio on my damaged shoulder. The support staff were efficient and friendly. I witnessed both the professional and support staff take great care and sufficient time to explain the course of therapy, insurance benefits, Covid protocols and other necessary information. My surgeon expressed delight at how well I have recovered in spite of the limited physio I was able to access. This is a great place to get your body operating the way it should.

I was referred here by the Sunnybrook Emergency Department. The staff is very friendly. Dr. Partridge is a very kind and caring doctor. I couldn't ask for anything better.

Where do I start?
This clinic has saved me.
About six months ago I have torn a tendon which later gave me a frozen shoulder.
At first, I went to another clinic and have done physiotherapy twice a week. They did help me a bit but unfortunately, it was not enough. I was stuck in the same painful condition for several months.

I decided to search for another clinic and was referred to Dr. Perelman for consultation .

I’m so glad I have done so because Dr Perelman suggested a different method of treatment, with a more aggressive approach, which has done wonders for my shoulder.
The combination of his treatments along with the physiotherapist at his clinic we’re painful but at the same time were absolutely necessary for my recovery.

My frozen shoulder has almost healed completely after one month of treatments with Dr. Perelman and Rommel - the physiotherapist.
I am now pain-free!
