  Had a really good experience at this Long and McQuade last week when I went to return one rental violin and buy out another. The sales rep, Jeremy Hood, who I was fortunate to deal with, had a really amazing and unusual customer service approach where he seemed to be looking to make things as good for me as possible. There were errors to my favour in my original contract from 3 years ago, and Jeremy spent the time figuring things out, pointed out the errors and honoured the terms when I would never have known if he hadn't. The assistant manager Steve and Ursula in account services both backed Jeremy up with what he was trying to do. It was definitely the best experience I've had there.

  I had been looking to rent a beginner drum kit at different music stores, including at a different L&M location. Both L&M locations were very welcoming, informative, and attentive. This North York location was especially helpful - particularly Dillon and Max in the drumming department. Despite the holiday busyness in the store, Max took the time to make sure my rental kit was in top shape and also patiently explained setup.

  Long story short. I got greeted by a fellow named Paul A.
  He Was very respectful, knowledgeable, Trustworthy & kind. He Took time to to not only explain how my guitar should be in tune but also to gain a better understanding for keeping my guitar in top condition. I am just starting my journey as a beginner, Paul definitely gave me a boost of confidence. Thank you Paul.

  Jeremy H. is a good dude if you're looking for new or used gear. Friendly, SUPER knowledgeable and a big help in finding one of the the nicest guitars I have ever owned. If you don't know something he won't make you feel dumb. I was comfortable asking any 'dumb' questions without feeling judged. That being said this is only a 3 star review. All thanks to the poor people skills of Rick Fathers, "Guitar Manager". I returned a week later to complete my transaction and I was "greeted" and dealt with atrociously by Rick. If it was not for my initial dealings with Jeremy I would've walked right out. I am gutted by this experience and will think twice about visiting this location in the future.

  I’ve been going to this location for 18 years and they have always been the nicest, most friendliest people I know. every time I go in I’m like a kid in a candy store. It is my favourite music shop in Toronto.
